My Thoughts:
This book, content-wise, is amazing.  I have tried 5 of the shakes/smoothies and they are divine. But more importantly I love the information that Christine Bailey provides about the ingredients, why they are important, the purpose of the different fruits, vegetables, powders, etc.  As someone who struggles with digestion and some auto-immune issues I have enjoyed reading this book, learning more about the items so many people just throw around like it is common terms (maca powder anyone?) and trying recipes that tell me the purpose, how those ingredients help me achieve that goal and so far have tasted GREAT! Loved the pumpkin pie and blueberry cobbler, but the kick start and the ginger stomach soother and anti-inflammatory aid are my favorite, mainly because they taste good but I can tell the difference in how I feel throughout the day.

I gave a 4 star review, instead of a 5, on the sites that require stars (really don't enjoy giving stars because each site has a different term for what each star represents) because of the formatting of my book.  I believe it is because it was a copy for review and not the purchase version perhaps, but my book had all the pictures blacked out and some sentence completion issues.  Once those issues are gone though the rest of this book is fantastic.  I believe the pictures of the drinks would only entice the reader more to try the drinks since part of the reason I wanted to review this book was how appealing the cover photo looks:)

I have already told several family members and friends about it so that we can all search for the different ingredients as many of the healthy suggested items are not found in my local area (camu camu berries (or most suggested berries)? the different protein or nutrient powders? pee pollen? spirulina? baobab fruit, etc.)  I can 100% say if I had more access to many of those ingredients I would have tried more of these drinks before my review, but since I don't I am searching them down so I can continue to try out what I hope turns out to be as tasty as the 5 I have tried and with continued benefits to my overall health.  Whether you are newbie to juicing and to smoothies (beyond the dessert kind!!) like me or an advanced pro who already knows all the health benefits this book would be a great read and resource.
