My Thoughts:
As I mentioned in the previous post I started reading this book immediately upon finishing the first Alexa Reed book. In this book we now know more of Alexa Reeds mystery, but not all of it.  Something is still unknown and it is underlying much of this story. However while I am reviewing this book I am more focused on the hurdles that Julian faces in this story.  He shares his history, his similarities and his new concern in this story that might mess up their relationship.  I absolutely love the way HW draws us into the emotions of the situations, characters and events.  I cringed during some scenes, laughed, cried, pretty sure I went no no no during a certain set of decisions, etc.

I said book one was a roller coaster, but it must have been just the first loop because my lord this story is one "shut the front door" to "what the what" moment on each page.  We have extreme romance, we have huge self-doubt, an epic melt down, a disastrous set of decisions, a shocking (but still somehow predictable) event and more all in this story.  Additionally, this book, in fact this series, has some very intense sexual scenes so this would be for mature audiences.  However, I would not say it is  an erotic story/love story  because while much of the strength of their relationship comes down to their draw to each other and that draw or intense need for each other is part of what strengthens their ability to keep working on their relationship it is not the sole focus of this story.  This story delves into how relationships need trust, how it can be hard for people to trust, how everyone has insecurities, the importance of communication and more..along with some very sexy scenes!

Normally I do not discuss the cover or title of a book, but I feel I must for this story and series.  They covers are hot and really fitting for this story.  I also love the titles and how it plays into the theme of the stories and where their relationship currently is and ends up at by the end of the story!

I enjoyed book 1, thought book 2 was even better and I can't wait to read book 3 and see what happens with Alexa and Julian...fingers crossed we are still getting a happy ending for them because they are some of my favorite literary characters that I have come across in a long time!
