Book Summary (Per Goodreads)
The ride of her life . . .
Once upon a time, Carissa Teodoro believed in happy endings. Money, marriage, motherhood: everything came easy---until she woke up to the ugly truth about her Prince Charming. Now a struggling, single mom and stranded by a flat tire, Carissa's pondering her mistakes when a vaguely familiar knight rides to her rescue on a ton of horsepower.

Climb on and hold tight . . .
In high school, Carson Steele was a bad boy loner who put Carissa on a pedestal where she stayed far beyond his reach. Today, he's the hard-bodied biker known only as Joker, and from the way Carissa's acting, it's clear she's falling fast. While catching her is irresistible, knowing what to do with her is a different story. A good girl like Carissa is the least likely fit with the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Too bad holding back is so damned hard. Now, as Joker's secrets are revealed and an outside threat endangers the club, Joker must decide whether to ride steady with Carissa---or ride away forever . . .

My Thoughts
I don't know how she does it, but each book is just a full on experience where you get all the feels.  Within the first pages you know you are going to be in for a different type of story because it takes Joker and Carissa's story back to their teenage years and family environment.  From there we see how they grew up and what experiences have taken place to lead them to meeting each other again.  This book has laughter, tears, sarcasm, love, borderline hate, family, friendship, romance and more.  One of the things I love the most about KA books beyond how she writes and the actual story is that each story somehow encompasses real world situations (e.g. single moms, financial hardships, family drama, etc.)

I love the way KA writes.  I always feel transported into the story.  I can visualize how Ride and Chaos must look, the outfits these women wear, the detail on the tats and the meaning behind them (if you like tats and such this book is going to make you happy!!), the tension that some scenes embody is palpable even through the book and my goodness fan yourself moments over some of the love and sexy scenes!  If you enjoy the Chaos and Ride stories from Tack to Shy and Hop you must go get this because it truly embodies the family, living free, protecting others sexy goodness that the men of Chaos are known for in the world KA has created for us.  If you are not always sure who you like most between Knight, Hawk, Mitch, Lee or Tack..well my friends while this completely is Joker and Carissa's story these men all have cameos and I am here to tell you that it will make you love them all a wee bit more!! I do believe that Knight might be the master manipulator and king BA in my book after this story though:) So much goodness!

Note about the special excerpt~
If you follow KA on Facebook (as you should) then you know Walmart has the paperback version of Ride Steady and it has a special chapter!!  When I finished my ebook I was like how can there be another chapter?  They already have one of the best endings and my lord I love me some Tack!, but I hurried my tush over to Walmart to find the book and oh my I am so glad that I did.  If you are a fan of Shy, Tabby, Tack you MUST get to this special chapter.  Seriously, I loved those characters before but after reading this chapter 1)I had tears...so freakn good and 2) Tack or Shy is my favorite..the end..has to be because my goodness the love that they demonstrate and HOW they do it..fantastic.

Obviously I enjoyed the story and I can't wait until the next one comes out (hello September!!) until then don't worry re-reads will take place and carefully waiting for more teaser chapters, cover reveals and fun tidbits from Facebook or Twitter will more than suffice for this reader:)

Let me know what you think and if you have a favorite KA leading man or lady!
