Book Summary (Per Goodreads)
He's the hottest MMA fighter in the game, but one woman is ready to try out a few steamy moves of her own in an unforgettable new novel from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster...

With the life he's led and the muscles he's gained, Armie Jacobson isn't afraid of anything. Except maybe Merissa Colter's effect on him. It's not just that she's his best friend's little sister. Fact is, she deserves better. Women pursue him for one night of pleasure, and that's all he wants to offer. Until rescuing Merissa from a robbery leads to the most erotic encounter of his life.

Good girl meets bad boy. It's a story that rarely ends well. But Merissa is taking matters into her own hands. No matter how he views himself, the Armie she knows is brave, honorable and completely loyal. And as past demons and present-day danger collide, they're both about to learn what's truly worth fighting for…

My Thoughts
You know when it is a Lori Foster and MMA story it is going to be hot...and this one does not only meet that expectation it exceeds it!  One of the things I loved about this story, and all of the MMA type romances from LF, is how the book covers romance, friendship, some type of intrigue/drama, and the MMA sport.  This story does have characters from other stories, I loved seeing Simon, Dakota, and Havoc again!!, but it can certainly be read as a stand alone.

LF is a genius at character development.  All of the characters in this story are charismatic and relateable.  Merissa is a firecracker.  She had so many different things thrown at her in this story and in each one she handled it as best as she could, maintained her sass and strength.  I loved how she left her message for friends and family, but the one she left for Armie after the robbery was the best!  Armie is just adorable and hot.  I just wanted to hug him during some of the scenes.  My heart hurt for him during the scenes with his father and his concerns.  And I couldn't stop stop laughing when he thanked Dakota at the end:) Class act that one!  A certain character is slime..and so well written for that role!

I always enjoy reading and re-reading these MMA/SBC stories and this is no different!  I can't wait to read more from LF!  Below is a video trailer for the book that will be out later this month (February 23, 2016) that I saw on LF's author page.
