Book Summary (Per Goodreads)
BT Urruela is former military with scars from war that forever changed his life. He attends an acting class, is a personal trainer at an elite facility in Tampa, and is your typical warm-blooded male.

Life is pretty easy-going for BT... then Aviana Maguire catches his eye.

Aviana attends the same acting class as BT, but does her best to stay under the radar. She’s the product of a broken family and a less than desirable childhood. She’s riddled with emotional scars and has extreme trust issues with men and all relationships in general.

Life was hard for Aviana as she struggled daily to just stay afloat. Just when she thought life couldn’t get more difficult, she’s snatched away from her home as retribution for someone else’s mistakes.

Underworlds, debts, and an obsession for justice could change everything for them both.

BT may rescue the girl he tracked into the dark recesses of Las Vegas, but will she ever be the same?

Or will BT become so deeply involved in SIN, that he becomes the one needing to be rescued?

My Thoughts
This is the first time that I have read fan-fiction and it was the first introduction to the veteran/writer/cover model/motivational speaker BT Urruela, so I was not quite sure what to expect.  Except ...I did know that I have read all of MJ's other works, loved them, and that the blurb sounds amazing.

Per usual the writing was very enjoyable, multi-faceted, the characters well developed,  and the scenes  very visual.  One of the things I love about all of the books from MJ is that when I read them the locations and individuals are so vividly described that I can see them as I read.  I was thrilled when we got to see members from Cerberus MC!!  I love those men, the brotherhood they hold as an MC and veterans, and what all they stand for.  The balance between romance and action/thriller regarding the actions of those in Vegas was fantastic.  I love books that hold both elements because it keeps me engaged and questioning what will happen from start to finish.  SINdicate had me laughing, crying, cringing, cheering and thrilled throughout the entire book.  It also left me wondering how much is fiction and what/if any is accurate about BT.  I did find from going to BT's FB page that he does have dogs! And while a small part of the book, the scenes involving the dog caught my attention since I always plan my vaca's around my chi's!

The premise of the book from the cover, to the blurb, to the emotions, actions of many individuals and the ending had me hooked and I can definitely say that this book will be one that I re-read and strongly recommend!
