I am thrilled to take part in the release day blitz for JC Santo's newest Navy Love sieres book, Resilient Love!  Because of that though, I am using a provided format so it will look a bit different from my normal reviews!  I am going to go on and place my thoughts/review here and then leave the rest of the post as I was provided so y'all can enjoy the pictures, teasers, and blurb!

My Review
Absolutely loved it!  It flowed seamlessly into the overall story line of the Navy Love series, but also kept the attention on Jo and J.C right where it needed to be since this story had been building since book 1!  Jo is certainly my favorite female in this series so far.  I am tied on my men so I will just say that J.C. is certainly not lacking in any department either:)

This book, and series, is extremely well-written.  I felt like I was part of the group of friends, I laughed and cheered on their successes, gasped at certain actions and bawled my eyes out over others.  Essentially, I was a hot mess of emotions while reading this story and I loved it!  This is a story of two people who try to be friends with benefits, but life throws a few curve balls that make them realize that things might not be what it seems.  Both Jo and J.C. are immensely loving friends and personalities, but with a tough exterior that hides how much they care.  Seeing their POV and the reasons behind their character made this book even more relate-able and enjoyable.

I know I like a story and series when I don't have just one favorite character and when the background characters are just as important to me.  If you read this series in order, this story is already stocked full of well developed characters that I enjoyed getting to know through the other two romances, and Resilient Love brought more detail, not just to Jo and J.C., but to all the couples and friends.  The insight and back and forth of Marsh and Preston..yes yes yes..so creative and funny!! I can't wait to get their story and to follow up on Jo, J.C. and the rest of the Navy Love gang!

How much hurt can one love go through?

An ill mother, a devastating secret and depression. These are now daily battles Joanna Fuentes deals with.

She sat on the sidelines and watched her friends find love, even the ones who weren’t searching for it. J.C. was meant to be a distraction from her mother’s illness, something for fun to pass the time. She never expected him to be her happily ever after.

Jared Collins enjoyed the single life. Yes, he’d always had the hots for a fellow sailor and friend, Jo, but he never thought he’d act on those physical feelings. And he damn sure didn’t think she’d be a game changer when he finally gave into those feelings.

What started off as two friends and a couple drunken nights, escalated into something more; Love. But secrets, unspoken feelings and one huge fight has caused a riff in the once unbreakable friendship of J.C. and Jo.

Will J.C. be able to repair the damage not only to their friendship but also their future relationship? Is he able to be the man Jo needs to pull her out of the depths of despair she’s fallen into?

One thing is certain, it will take a resilient kind of love.
